What kind of vitamin C is it?

It uses L ascorbic acid, the gold standard form of vitamin C, paired with ferulic acid and vitamin E. That classic trio makes the vitamin C more stable and more effective, and adds extra protection against pollution and light.

Should I use it in the morning or at night?

Yes, just at different times. Vitamin C in the morning and retinol such as Power R1% at night is the simplest, most effective way to use both without overwhelming your skin.
